If you’ve never been baptized, either as an infant or as a believer, come and discover what baptism might mean for your faith journey! After completing the class, you’ll have the opportunity to be baptized during the worship service on Sunday, Dec. 5. Elementary students who wish to be baptized must attend this class with a parent. This weekend gives fathers & sons the chance to strengthen their relationships and grow closer to God, while having a whole lot of fun! Chapel sessions combine fun, games, great worship times and messages from gifted speakers. Activities include: trail rides, high ropes course, indoor climbing wall, campfire donut making, playing games at the snack shop and more! Make this Christmas season an experience your family will remember. Come and “travel back” to ancient Bethlehem to see what daily life was like when Jesus was born. Children will be able to craft necklaces, knead bread, practice scroll writing, and more! Visit with friends in the Jewish home and learn about their customs. Meet Mary, Joseph, and their amazing new baby, lying in the manger. And you won’t want to miss the end of the night, when everyone gathers to celebrate the newborn King!

Thanksgiving is around the corner and many students in our community have limited access to food. Crossview is partnering with the BackPack Food Program to help prepare food packs that will be distributed to kids in need during Thanksgiving break.
Due to limited space at the BackPack Headquarters, families with last names A-L will serve in November and families with last names M-Z will serve in March.
K-5 Families with Last Name A-L
Parents will serve with their kids at the BackPack Headquarters (2120 Howard Dr, Suite F&G) at EITHER 6:00pm-6:45pm or 6:45pm-7:30pm. You can sign up for a spot at the Crossview Kids check in desk or online at www.crossviewcov.org/kidserve
K-5 Families with Last Name M-Z
Parents please check in your kids like a regular Wednesday night (6:00-7:15pm). Kids will gather in the Kid’s Worship room for an interactive lesson about hunger and injustice presented by Crossview staff and BackPack Program staff.

Help pack 4,500 treat bags for our congregation to hand out on Halloween! Halloween is a fantastic chance to invite children in your neighborhood to Crossview so they can connect with Jesus and develop a lifelong faith. We want to equip families in our congregation to invite kids to Crossview by supplying them with Crossview treat bags. Contact Kari Rodman or Alex Ramerth with any questions. Here’s how everyone can get involved:
1. Donate candy! It will take over 15,000 pieces of candy to pack the treat bags - candy donations can be dropped off in the Crossview Kids office in the Kids Wing.
2. Come and assemble treat bags with your family on Oct. 23! This is a serving opportunity for your entire family. Don’t miss the fun! Family-friendly costumes encouraged.
We believe this is a great opportunity to set the tone for our new network church. We're a church that serves our community, but we also have some fun together. Bring the kids; we'll play on the playground.

On Sunday, Oct. 13, we'll present third graders with a new Bible as a way to invest in the faith journey of our students and support their parents, whom we believe are the BEST spiritual mentors of their children. To participate, parents & third graders must attend this mandatory meeting. RSVP to Kari Rodman to register.

Crossview recognizes that beginning Kindergarten is a significant milestone, and we want to celebrate with your kindergartner by giving them a Crossview Kids Prayer Bear at the end of the worship service. This small stuffed animal is a reminder that, just like the Prayer Bear, God is always close by and there to comfort them.
Children are invited to bring their backpacks to church for a special blessing during each service! We want to help them remember that Jesus loves them and is always with them. Each child will receive a “backpack blessing” tag to put on their backpack (handed out in Crossview Kids programming) and we will have extra tags available at the Connect Desk for parents, grandparents, and teachers who want a reminder to pray for the faith of these children).
After each service, stop by the Cafe for ice cream treats!
