Hope In a Box | Gathering - All of Lent
Food is essential for everyone. When these needs aren’t met, life becomes much harder—and challenges that might otherwise be manageable can feel impossible to overcome. At Crossview, we believe God calls us to care for one another, especially those facing difficult circumstances.
That’s why we partnered with Community Covenant to create Hope in a Box: a simple way to support people in our community and remind them they are not alone—that someone sees them, cares for them, and believes they can make it through whatever life brings.
This year, we’re partnering with ECHO Food Shelf to expand this effort.
To make it easy for more people to participate, we’re extending Hope in a Box throughout the entire season of Lent (February 18–April 5). You’re invited to purchase boxed food items and bring them to church. Each Sunday, a trailer will be parked outside Rosa Parks where you can drop off your donations. AND because it's part of the March drive, all donations are matched!
At the end of the season on April 11, 2026 we’ll gather together to decorate the boxes with stickers and messages of love and hope before they’re delivered and you can stick around for lunch.
The location of where we will gather to do this is TBD. Please watch for more details.
We look forward to serving our community alongside you and sharing God’s love through these simple acts of kindness.
