Our team is taking a mission trip to the Rio Grande Valley at the Texas-Mexico border. There we will serve our immigrants by doing grounds work for a housing site, volunteering at a respite center handing out necessities, and coming alongside immigrants at a local bus station and preparing them for the long journey to another part of the country. This trip will also provide learning opportunities for our team, including meeting with immigration lawyers, border patrol, and learning from the people who direct the organizations we will be partnering with.
