Topic: Domestic Violence & Family Abuse

What are the warning signs that I or someone I know is in an abusive relationship? What can I do if I don’t feel safe in my relationship? What can I do if I don’t think my child or my friend is safe in their relationship? These questions and others will be addressed by a panel of experts from CADA and leaders of the Advocacy for Victims of Abuse (AVA) small group at Crossview. Participants will increase their awareness of the struggles that people with abusive partners face and learn how to be an advocate for themselves and/or others.
