Crossview will be hosting the Connections Ministry Emergency Shelter during the week of Dec. 24-31. If you would like to volunteer, you must attend a training session before serving. Contact Tara Rustad to RSVP or for more details.
** On Dec. 16, training will be part of the "Faith & Justice Seminar."
Volunteers are needed for:
Set up Team: 5-6 volunteers (Mondays 9:30-11:00am). Set-up rooms with cots and blankets.
Meal Team: 3-10 volunteers (6:00-8:30pm). Provide, serve, and clean up a meal for 25 shelter guests and 5-10 volunteers for a total of 30-35 people. This is a great opportunity to serve with your small group.

Morning Team: 2-3 volunteers (6:00am-8:00am). Make coffee, wake-up guests, assist in morning routines and say good-bye to the guests.
Welcome Bags: 2 volunteers (Mondays 9:00-10:00am). Assist in making bags which can be placed on pillows to help shelter guests feel welcome.
Laundry: 1-2 volunteers. Take used bedding to the laundromat as needed, or at the end of the week, then return it for storage until the next time Crossview hosts.
