We are all participants in the story of God, and although the Bible has a first and last page it doesn’t mean the story is complete.
How can we more fully participate in the story of God? We thrive as people when we read and study, meet and discuss it. In October 2021, we are going to use the Community Bible Experience to enter God’s story as a community. Both locations will be reading, studying, preaching and having small groups focus on the entire New Testament for 8 weeks.
We will read the New Testament as the authors wrote it, as a whole book, in chronological order, full of drama, healing, restoration, promise, community and victory over sin and death. This is for everyone: those who are new to the Bible, those that are well-versed and everyone in between. What a great time in history for us all to take time to get on the same page and focus on Jesus.
See the resources here for an audio version, the publication of the NIV that we will use, and kids’ resources as well. Please feel free to call the church office or contact Sandi Asker with questions.
